Meet Our Horses

We currently have 11 school horses that have 105 acres of land to run to their heart's content.

Apache

Apache is a perfect example of a loyal friend. He will go through fire for the people he loves. Suitable from beginners to experts this versatile guy does voltige, mounted archery, therapeutic riding, skijoring, dressage and cross-country riding.

Breeze

Breeze is the newest addition to our herd! He is a 12-year-old all-around Quarter Horse with the most beautiful eyes. He has excellent ground manners, loves kids, and has nice movement. He’s a very gentle and easy ride, making him perfect for riders of all levels. Bring him a banana to say hello!

Claudio

Claudio is a true gentleman, always moving towards his full potential with grace and determination. He loves a good challenge and carries himself through it beautifully. With a lot to offer the experienced rider, Claudio also enjoys greeting everyone with a friendly cuddle.

Drishti

Drishti is a beautiful mare who knows what she wants. Born and raised at Horses of the Sun, she is a joy to ride; from beginner to advanced rider.  In her free time, Drishti loves to run and play outside with her best friend, Emrys. 

Emerys

Emrys is still a little boy at heart and loves to play with anything that is not nailed down. He is still learning and will entertain his riders when given the opportunity. His strong build makes him so very comfy to sit on, and his personality will make you laugh.​

Flash

Flash may be small in size, but he is an excellent little horse that can teach you a thing or two. He is always the first at the gate and ready to go for a ride. Flash is  fast on his feet and has a big heart. He loves kids and he is a huge fan of extra cuddles.

Fleurian

Fleurian is a happy chap who adores riders of all ages. Though he's had a few different homes, for the past 7 years, he's called ‘Horses of the Sun’ his home and has become a beloved favorite. A true lover of treats and cuddles, Fleurian’s sweet nature makes him a joy to be around.

Inka

Inka is a sweet multi-talent with a cheeky personality and the perfect size. Everyone loves this handsome guy who is amazing with beginners and experts alike. Uwe discovered this cutie as a yearling 18 years ago, and we can’t imagine the stable without him. ​

Marko

Marko is a muscular guy with an incredible personality. Sturdy and strong, he’s the perfect fit for taller riders. Marko is gentle, attentive, and always takes great care of his rider, regardless of skill level. Plus, he’s always ready for a carrot or two!

Soleil

Soleil is a beautiful, confident bay mare. She has lots of energy and spirit which makes her better suited for experienced riders. Soleil has the superpower to mirror whatever you're feeling on any given day. In her free time she loves to stroll around the paddock.

Topaz

Topaz is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than a relaxing ride and plenty of attention. With a sweet nature and a love for treats, he’s sure to win over anyone who spends time with him. Topaz also enjoys scenic trail rides, making every outing a peaceful adventure.

Clover & Whisper

Meet Whisper and Clover, our adorable half-sisters! Born on May 8, 2020, Whisper is a charming paint Welsh miniature mare, and Clover is a sweet black miniature mare. These two love treats and are always ready to steal your heart with their playful personalities!
