Meet Our Horses

We currently have 10 school horses that have 105 acres of land to run to their heart's content.

Apache

Apache is a perfect example of a loyal friend. He will go through fire for the people he loves. Suitable from beginners to experts this versatile guy does
voltige, mounted archery, therapeutic riding, skijoring, dressage and cross-country riding.

Inka

Inka is a sweet multi-talent with a cheeky personality and the perfect size. 
Everyone loves this handsome guy who is amazing with beginners and experts alike. Uwe discovered this cutie as a yearling 18 years ago, and we can’t imagine the stable without him. 

Emrys

Emrys is still a little boy at heart and loves to play with anything that is not nailed down.
He is still learning and will entertain his riders when given the opportunity. His strong build makes him so very comfy to sit on, and his personality will make you laugh.

Flash

Flash may be small in size, but he is an excellent little horse that can teach you a thing or two. He is always the first at the gate and ready to go for a ride. Flash is  fast on his feet and has a big heart. He loves kids and he is a huge fan of extra cuddles.

Marko

Marko is a muscular guy with a fantastic personality. He is sturdy and strong, which makes him a perfect fit for taller riders. Marko is gentle, attentive and takes care of his rider no matter the skill level. And he is always up for a carrot or two.

Fleurian

Fleurian is a happy chap who is great with riders of all ages. He’s had different homes but for the past 7 years Fleurian has enjoyed grazing at ‘Horses of the Sun’ and has become a favorite.

Drishti

Drishti is a beautiful mare who knows what she wants. Born and raised at Horses of the Sun, she is a joy to ride; from beginner to advanced rider.  In her free time, Drishti loves to run and play outside with her best friend, Emrys. 

Soleil

Soleil is a beautiful, confident bay mare. She has lots of energy and spirit which makes her better suited for experienced riders. Soleil has the superpower to mirror whatever you're feeling on any given day. In her free time she loves to stroll around the paddock.

Claudio

Claudio is still moving towards his full potential, he loves a good challenge and carries himself through it beautifully. He has a lot to offer to  the experienced rider! 

Breeze

Bolero

Breeze is the newest addition to our herd! He is a 12-year old all a rounder quarter horse with the most beautiful eyes. He has excellent ground manners, loves kids and has nice movement.  

Bolero is an amazing little pony who will take good care of his rider. But like all ponies he is a free spirit. The best way to sway him? FOOD
